Disable Dashboard and save RAM on your Mac

One feature that's been included in Apple's OS X Tiger operating system and above is Dashboard. In short, this application provides a platform to run mini-applications, or widgets, as Apple call them. If at any time you're using OS X Tiger you can press F12 and your screen will dim and your widgets will be displayed.

More details on Facebook's rumoured 'music project'

Rafat Ali of PaidContent claims to have dug up more details about the mysterious "iTunes Store rival" that Facebook has allegedly been working on in recent weeks. And he says that sources indicate it's not Apple that should be worried, but rather MySpace, the once-formidable social network that Facebook has been gaining on steadily since the launch of its developer platform in May.
