Telstra restricts iPhone supply lines

The nation's biggest telco Telstra today said it would sell Apple's 3G iPhone in just 15 stores nationwide from Friday morning, including only one store in Sydney.

iPhone madness: What's a gigabyte worth?

A while back, frustration with my inability to get online outside of the office drove me to invest in a 3G data service from Hutchinson's 3. For $30 per month, I get 2GB of data that's accessible pretty much anywhere I go (I do all my work in metropolitan areas).

Legal schmegal: Aussie iPhone will still be locked

After research conducted by two Queensland legal academics ignited debate yesterday over whether Apple will be allowed to lock the iPhone to an exclusive carrier, Trade Practices experts have agreed that to do so might contravene regulations, but it will make little difference to the company.
