Apple pulls Boot Camp beta
October 23rd, 2007 by MacFixItConcurrent with the public release of Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), Apple will no longer support the Boot Camp beta for prior versions of Mac OS X (including Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger). This means that while current installations of Boot Camp will continue to function properly under Mac OS X 10.4.x, the Boot Camp beta assistant will cease to properly function, disallowing the creation of new Boot Camp partitions, the ability to apply Boot Camp updates and more.
