Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveils an updated line of iPods at San Francisco's Moscone Center on Wednesday in the US.
Jobs shows off the new iPod Touch, a phoneless iPhone. It looks just like the iPhone, with the same size screen but it's thinner. The iPod Touch has the multitouch interface borrowed from the iPhone, with the same home screen. It also has the accelerometer that transfers the screen from portrait to landscape mode, the same 3.5-inch widescreen display and Wi-Fi. The 8GB costs AU$419, while the 16GB will cost AU$549. Both models will be available this month.

I bought to av cable and my ipod classic plays movies on my tv but not my iPod touch! the videos play for like one second and then backs out to the videos menu. Do i really have to buy the cable directly from Apple? How am I having problems with the newer ipod rather than this old 5th generation ipod! Suggestions anyone?
