MacBooks go metallic, with Nvidia inside

Apple CEO Steve Jobs on Tuesday announced updates to the company's MacBook laptop line-up, including Nvidia graphics, a glass multi-touch trackpad, a thinner casing crafted from a single block of aluminium, solid-state drives, some price reductions, and more.
As expected, Apple also released its first sub-US$1,000 notebook. The announcements took place at the company's Cupertino, California, headquarters.
