Apple MacBook unboxing

October 22nd, 2009 by Ty Pendlebury

Apple has announced its latest MacBook, a white unibody notebook which now features a multi-touch trackpad and an LED-backlit screen.

The notebook starts at AU$1299 and features a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and the Nvidia GeForce 9400M integrated graphic chipset. The 13.3-inch screen features 1280x800 resolution with a glossy, high-contrast coating.

Networking includes a built-in AirPort Extreme 802.11n wireless networking adapter, gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

As a unibody it features a built-in battery which Apple says is good for seven hours of life. The new body means it's now a little lighter at 2.1kg. Other additions include a non-slip bottom and a 90-degree MagSafe power cable which should make it harder to knock out.

We got our hands on the product and bring you our unboxing.

Thanks for updating the new version of MacBook. I am thinking of buying an Android set that can support Mac in it. This will allow me to watch online TV and other sources. I was wondering if this system supports Quad or not. If then I will definitely buy it. vCloud Datacenter
