iPod Playlists: Musical confessions

July 30th, 2007 by Ella Morton

playlist.pngEveryone and their dog (and its fleas) owns an MP3 player nowadays, but what are they all listening to? Could you guess someone's music tastes just by looking at them?

This week Ella Morton from CNET.com.au bailed up a range of hapless tune-listeners this week as part of her weekly show called "Whaddyareckon?" and demand they reveal what's coming out of those squishy little ear buds. It's confession time, and there's no room for fooling -- sonic guilty pleasures will be unveiled.

If you think you could pick a die-hard Metallica fan from a Fergalicious pop queen, try the challenge. You may be surprised at what people are grooving to as they pound the pavements.

I'll show my musical nerdism here but "Baby, I love your way" I don't think was done by Bob Marley. It was originally Peter Frampton's song before reggae band Big Mountain covered it. I don't have *all* of Bob Marley's catalogue but I'm pretty sure he never released this.
