Create Smart Playlists in iTunes

After hitting OK, iTunes will create the Smart Playlist and give you a chance to name it whatever you want. Remember, you can always go back later and tweak the settings by selecting the playlist and clicking the Edit Smart Playlist Option in the file menu.
That's it. That's how you create Smart Playlists in iTunes. You can use them to quickly generate playlists based around genre or decade, or even sort out the loser songs in your collection that always get skipped.

I still don't understand the usefulness of Genius Playlists but I have to recognize that this article perfectly answers to the questions I was asking myself about playlists. Thanks !

I love creating Smart playlists, it's a great way to let iTunes be your DJ and adapt itself to your mood.

I've really got to jump on this apple bandwagon, have never used iTunes before. Personally I prefer the simple mp3 player, drag and drop! simples.

Yes you are right, it is tedious to have to keep converting them with itunes!
