Over 20 years as a PC user & I've been extremely frustrated this week trying to help my daughter use her new Mac. It's a different language, different actions & different locations onscreen. Simple to a Mac user but all difficult (mostly impossible) for me. I get the impression it's probably a great machine but Apple will never convert PC users in great numbers unless more help is given to new owners, who can then spread the word about their great acquisition. This applesource video (watched on my PC) gave me a few useful pointers. Thanks. How about showing us simple things like how to switch between OSx & Windows (which I have installed) to see and use a document.

Hi Ken, That's what we are here for! Would you like a side-by-side comparison of common features between a Mac and Windows XP? If there is anything in particular you'd like to know more of feel free to leave a message and we'll respond. If we don't know the answer we'll find it for you! Thanks for reading -- Brendon

I'm looking for a basic guide on getting started with a Mac. Something like the "Learning Windows Visually" series of books. I've been a Windows user for 15+ years and now I've volunteered to introduce my son's Kindergarten class to Macs. I know they're easy and intuitive but not owning one makes it hard to practice before taking the 5 year olds into the computer lab and struggling to do basic stuff. I will be buying a Mac soon but am not sure whether I should wait till Leopard comes out next month. If I start on Leopard, would it be difficult to to find my way in the current OS (Tiger)? In which case, maybe I should just buy a Mac now and get going and worry about upgrading to Leopard later. Would appreciate you all experts advice.
